Headed up by a certified clinical audiologist, the HCMC Hearing & Speech Center identifies the cause of a hearing problem, whether it be trauma (injuries from accidents or the effect of a stroke), noise-induced or the result of genetic factors. Hearing problems occur in every age range, from neonatal infants to geriatrics-and our staff can follow a complete assessment with a specific program of rehabilitation, which may include speech therapy, a program of teaching you adaptive communication skills, hearing aids, or assistive listening devices. Our testing procedures can also identify related symptoms such as tinuitus and supply you with possible solutions for these problems.
