Educational programs or classes include care management; infant care skills; breast feeding basics; Big Brother-Big Sister and Prepared Childbirth Classes (including Lamaze). Included on our professional staff are nurses who are National Neonatal Resuscitation Certified and have earned National Certification of Stabilization of a High Risk Newborn. We have pediatricians on our medical staff to provide specialized care newborns require. Because HCMC is a part of the Emory network, a neonatal specialist can be contacted immediately if these special services are needed at birth.
